Sausage-Cheese Appetizers is a quick and easy Memphis-style recipe that takes only 15 minutes to prepare. Crackers topped with grilled Kielbasa sausage and cheddar cheese. It’s also a healthy low calories, low fat, low sodium, low sugars, low carbohydrates, low cholesterol, WeightWatchers (3) PointsPlus, heart-healthy and diabetic friendly recipe. Makes 12 servings. INGREDIENTS:

4 oz Cheddar cheese, cut into 12 slices
1/2 lb Kielbasa sausage, grilled until done, cut into 24 slices
24 Ritz Crackers
1 tsp paprika

DIRECTIONS:

1. Cut each cheese slice in half. Place 6 crackers on a microwaveable plate; top each with 1 sausage slice and 1 cheese slice. Sprinkle lightly with paprika.

2. Microwave on HIGH 10 to 15 sec. or until cheese begins to melt.

3. Repeat with remaining ingredients.

Yield: 12 Servings
Serving Size: 2 per serving.
