Ingredients include: beef sirloin streak, red and yellow bell peppers and onions. Both steak and vegetables are grilled and basted with a bottled barbecue sauce and are well seasoned. 1 garlic clove, minced
1 Tbsp chili powder
(1 lb, 1″ thick)) beef sirloin steak
1 red bell pepper, cut lengthwise into quarters
1 yellow bell pepper, cut lengthwise into quarters
1 red onion, cut crosswise into 4 slices
1/3 cup bottled barbecue sauce of your choice.
1. Oil the grate of your grill and Preheat to medium-high.
2. Mix together the minced garlic and chili powder until blended; rub evenly onto both sides of steak.
3. Place steak and vegetables on grill and cook 12 to 14 minutes or until steak is cooked to medium doneness (160º F.) (when tested with a meat thermometer) and vegetables are tender, turning steak after 7 minutes also turning vegetables occasionally; brushing all with barbecue sauce for the last 5 minutes.
4. Remove steak and vegetables from grill. Let steak stand 5 minutes before slicing. Serve with the vegetables.
Yield: 4 servings.
